Buster

Its me Buster Brown! Almost didn’t recognize me huh? I’m up to 55 lbs. And just wanted to say thank you soooo much for hanging in there with me and finding my new home. I’m really happy in my Pennsylvania digs and really enjoying life. My training instructor thinks I’m a great student and my vet is very happy with my progress in gaining weight.
P.S. Just a note from Jim & Jackie Waldschmidt –the proud new parents of Buster. We kept the name Buster since it fit and want to add our thanks for the time and care you guys took in his time of need and the expeditious handling of the adoption procedure. We’ll keep in touch with further updates and progress reports on the big guy.
Thank you Jim for giving Buster Brown a new chance at LIFE.

blondie

I adopted Blondie about a month ago from you fine people at RCHS. She is such a joy in our household, and everyone has fallen in love with her, even our old dog Casey. She was spade 2 weeks ago and is doing great. Blondie loves her long walks/run1 mile at night before she goes to bed. This past week we took her to private dog training lessons to learn basic commands and it worked so well she is not the same dog we got a month ago. Thank you for allowing my family to adopt Blondie. She is a great new member of our family.

aubry

This is Chris Melendez and I just wanted to give you an update on one of the dogs I adopted from Robeson County Humane Society back in April. I adopted Pebbles (who is now renamed Aubrey) and she is doing AMAZING! She is so fast, it's easy to forget she only has 3 legs. She loves to go jogging and always wants to be outside. She adores her big brother, Jynx. Whenever they start playing she goes right for his ankles of his back legs (we think she has 'leg-envy' haha). I hope to hear back from you guys soon and we keep in touch!
Thank you Chris for giving Aubrey a new chance at life!

delilah

Thanks to A. J. Beers from Pennsylvania for giving Delilah/now named Lucy, her furever home. We all miss you!

scooby

We thought it was so nice to receive a phone call today regarding "Jack" renamed “Scooby”to find out how he is doing. We brought him home on Saturday, and are so happy to have him in our lives. He is just a loving goofball who can't wait until his next playtime, but is slowly realizing just how awesome snuggling can be!
Very Sincerely,
Chris and Adrienne

skylar

Cindy and her son came all the way from Portage, MI to meet our transporter in PA to pick up Skyler. What a perfect fit she is............(and 3 cats too, not in photo, lol) Thank you Cindy, for giving Skyler a second chance at LIFE.

buck

My family would like to Thank everyone at Robeson County Humane Society for what they do! Without them rescuing animals, and taking such good care of them, families like mine would not have been matched with animals that are definitely meant to be part of the family. We love Buck and feel like he has been with us forever instead of only a few short weeks. My children love taking care of him and they each have their own special trick that is unique to just them and Buck. We will never be able to thank the team at RCHS enough for helping us find that important part of our family that we needed so much and we promise to love Buck and take the very best care of him~always!

On Friday we went to the vet to get all her new shots and exam. She's doing great and is extremely healthy! She's a whole 19 pounds now from 16 when we got her! I got engaged in September and were so excited to hopefully have Domino aka: Lucky Star in the wedding!!

Joddie and Ozzy

Wanted to let you know Jodie and Ozzy hit it off great. They played through out the day yesterday even tho both were very tired from the night before lol. They both were exhausted when we went to bed and slept great. Jodie goes to vet tomorrow morning just to update my vet with her records and then will get her license. Will be sure to get you more pics later when they are at play. Thank you again and will definately keep you updated.

Sheena

Sheena arrived home safe and sound, just a little tired. She's a sweetheart and everyone has fallen in love with her. Sheena has been very well behaved, and you were right, she loves to cuddle. As you can see, she was a little wiped out on Saturday from her long trip, so this was her "walk" on her first day home. Thank you to everyone at Robeson County Humane Society. We will talk to you soon and keep you posted on her progress.

bo

Bo was one of our favorites at the shelter. Thanks to Ms. Staci in Laurinburg NC he has a furever home. Thank you Staci for giving Bo a second chance at life!

Lucy

Sweet Lucy arrived around 2:15AM Saturday, on the shy side, to be expected, but gave us all wet kisses, wow! We keep looking at her and can't believe she is finally here. Lucy seems to be warming up to us quickly, loves to play with her toys, especially a fluffy ball. She is fascinated with the birds at our bird feeder. Sweet Lucy is the perfect name for her...she is just so sweet. Thank you for allowing us to give her a furever home
Love,
Susan and family

ringo

Ian ( now named Ringo ) lives happily in Aurora, NC. Ringo, his mom and littermates arrived at RCHS when he was two days old. His family reports that Ringo is a sweet addition to their family. He adores his new playmate, a poodle named Mollie. Thank you, Linda and Don for giving Ringo his fur-ever home! Awww. Such a precious picture!

harry

Living in Long Island.....Harry has a beautiful family........Long trip...but totally worth it! New name is Jet.

timon

Samuel (now Timon Samuel Fisher) is living in NJ with his new sister Tink, mommy and daddy. People say the two dogs could be related, besides the 3 year difference. Corina knew it was love at first sight. She is starting a baby book for him (so cute), and it was surely the perfect match!!!!

jessica

This girl is now in NJ with a loving family.  She was rescued from here, and had 22 buck shots around
her eye, brain and ears............terrible that someone would do that.  Well, Sable has no worries anymore, as she is in her safe haven for the remainder of her life!!!!
Thank you Cynthia and your family for giving Sable her furever home!

jessica

Jessica is a Great Dane who is believed to be deaf. Her new parents from NJ are so happy to add her to there family. Her new Daddy took off running with Jessica in the snow, and she looked like a puppy again!!!!! He was happy he had a dog that could go running with him. They are going to teach her sign language since she is partially deaf. What a great family!
